Market Street For The Masses

Market Street for The Masses, a group of leading non-profits that serve the Mid-Market and Tenderloin communities have partnered with HUB and Intersection for the Arts to create an evening event highlighting new models for community innovation.

Together, we’ll convene Mid-Market’s legacy community organizations, top tech start-ups, citizens, artists, civic leaders and social entrepreneurs who reside in this community to discuss meaningful ways of creating a sense of place in an ever-changing landscape.

The format of the event is to be a facilitated conversation that will allow for diverse perspectives to be recognized while creating a sense of movement: including best practices for tangible partnerships and models for action.  Topics to be discussed include new ideas for social innovation in the Mid-Market community, models for participatory engagement and volunteerism 2.0, public-private partnerships, Community Benefit Agreement best practices, and meaningful ways we can build bridges as citizens of the Mid-Market community.
